Barberville Pioneer Festival

This coming Saturday - April 25th - is the Barberville Pioneer Festival.
If you have never been to this very nice pioneer village, they will have live music all over the park, mostly Blue Grass style.
There are craftsmen - blacksmiths, quilting, weaving, etc., -- railroad display, fire house with an old fire engine, a school house where they have different kinds of old country dancing, etc. The Crankin' A's put on a car show. It is a great time to get together and cruise on over. Sorry for the late notice. I just found out about this in an email exchange with Elaine Lowe. She is mailing me their last newsletter with info. If anyone is interested, Buddy and I would happy to put something together for us to cruise over. Just send a reply to bbpearce919@embarqmail.com

Actually, If you are interested in going to the Pioneer Festival and Car Show at Barberville on Saturday, April 25th --
The Villages area gang will meet at the gas station in Weirsdale (corner of Rt. 42 & 25) at 8:00 a.m. We will meet up with anyone else at the Kangaroo gas station in Altoona (Rt. 19 & 42) at 9:00 a.m. and leave shortly afterward. We will then caravan to Barberville.

An Invitation from the Orlando Club to join them!

I am extending an invitation to all the members of the HOF to join us on May 17 for our car display and luncheon @ Health Central Park, a nursing home on Dillard Street (about 2 miles north of highway 50). We will gather around 12:30PM @ the south entrance. Our luncheon and meeting will be @ 1:30. We will breakup at 3:30PM. Anyone who would like to attend should RSVP to this email address: tbirdbrown@gmail.co If there are some who don’t have email, let them advise you and you can forward that information to me. Thanks

I have attached a copy of a letter we are sending to Gov. Charlie Crist on the problems that ethanol causes for our cars and engines in general. Feel free to distribute it to your club and to anyone who may have influence in reversing this practice.
